What a fun change to do a little boy baby shoot! Little Ethan was so cute, with his long eye lashes and big eyes he's almost too pretty to be a boy lol. It was so much fun to use some cute boy props. I loved watching him with his Daddy, Joel, who was always able to coax a grin out of him. Also his crazy expressions always had me giggling. I had to hang onto these images for awhile as they were a Christmas presents so I'm happy to finally be able to share some of them, thank you Kathleen and Joel for letting me have some fun with your sweet baby boy!

There's only one word that really describes this beautiful shoot to me... Awe! I spent an afternoon with first time parents Laura and Brad capturing moments with their new little one, Peyton. What really captured my heart wasn't only the beauty of this baby, it was the special relationship both Laura and Brad already had with their new little daughter. Thank you for allowing me to share in your lives for a day!

A warm winter wonderland was the setting for this lovely maternity shoot! Thankfully the weather had warmed up enough from the dreadfully cold temperatures for us to enjoy the snow. I had the opportunity to capture some moments with Beth and Donovan, a couple who are expecting their first child. What a love and sweetness these two had! You can tell they've been married long enough to really know one another and have such a depth to their relationship, yet still retain that "lovebirds" feeling. Thank you for giving me a glimpse at what to look forward to one day!

Autumn always seems to spell one thing... Family Photos! I had the pleasure of having a shoot with Grant, Char, Alyssa, and Kailey. The colors were amazing with all the fallen leaves and the sun was at it's best. Such fun as we played around just enjoyed the crisp air and each other. One thing that really stuck out to me for this family was their strength together and love for each other. They're the kind of family you think of when you think of wanting to be home with your loved ones and I loved watching the relationships between each one play out. Thank you for letting me share in your warmth and being so amazing!

Oh goodness what a love!!! I had the extreme pleasure of having a fun shoot with the little Zion. For one so small she put up with me remarkably well, as me and her mom Sarah changed her into one outfit to the next, coaxed her to smile, and tried to distract her from the camera. She started to tire out near the end but as soon as we put her in the tub it was like she completely came to life again! I had such a difficult time editing these as they were all so precious and special and even the ones where she pouted only melted my heart. Thank you my dear friend Sarah for letting me capture some precious moments with this little love!

So this couple you most likely will be seeing a lot of as they are very dear to my heart, Shara-Rae and David. These two are not only so much fun being around (literally I think we were all laughing just about the entire shoot) they clearly love one another and love being together. Thank you weather for cooperating and giving us some beautiful light for this great minishoot!

Canada Day this year was definitely a hot one where the sun made it almost unbearable to be outside! I got to spend my afternoon and be part of a shoot with Lauri Mackinnon as we took photos of the lovely Anna and her horse Pepper. Thankfully Anna and Pepper were both pros and didn't let the heat phase them (in spite Anna wearing a very hot grad dress for half the shoot!) As you can see from the pictures my job was pretty much made easy as these two just fell into step and were complete naturals!
